This plugin provides  a flickering wipe  transition  in between clips, in addition you can modify gradient angle (Vertical, Horizontal, Diagonal), edge softness, flicker duration and add a clip to stylise the transition. Please take a look at the sample video  below to see how it can be used and play around with the various parameters to customize the transition according to your needs.

To install the plug-in:

After downloading the plug-in  drag it to Macintosh HD / Library / Application Support /Final Cut Pro System Support / Plugins folder.

Finally restart Final Cut Pro and the transition should show up in the transitions menu.
